  First Baptist is first and foremost concerned with accurately handling the Word of God--which means that you will hear God's Word in the songs and the sermon. Attending First Baptist means that you will have a Bible-believing, Christ-loving family that will care about you and your function in this world. First Baptist does not seek to energize emotions as much as it seeks to energize believers to live out God's Word in their daily lives. Pastor Sam believes in the value of everyone who attends, which is demonstrated by the care and conviction he gives when preaching God's Word from the pulpit and when talking to you in person.
